Migration
This work explores botanical abstraction through expansive crimson washes intersected by dense black ink forms. The pigments were applied using a wet-on-wet process, allowing the color to bloom and diffuse naturally across the paper’s surface. The black ink anchors the composition with weight and contrast, while the surrounding red fields create a sense of motion, tension, and organic expansion. The resulting image evokes magnified floral anatomy, cellular rupture, and emotional intensity in a single restrained palette.
