Rapture

This piece presents a controlled, almost architectural surface disrupted by a single point of rupture. A circular form anchors the composition, partially broken and reassembled within a muted field of grays and mineral tones.

A small exposure of red interrupts the restraint of the palette. It functions as a focal point, drawing attention to where the surface gives way. The contrast between precision and damage creates tension, as if the structure is holding itself together while something beneath it presses outward.

Rapture is quiet and contained. The work does not depict an event so much as the moment immediately after one, when impact has already occurred and the surface has settled into a new state.
